Meet our founding Board Members!

James is the driving force behind bringing rock climbing back to Rockbridge County.  He has worked with the Access Fund and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation to reach the point that rock climbing will soon become accessible to all.

Mickie is an avid climber, both indoors and out.  He brings his climbing expertise, his skills from running a makers space, and enthusiasm for digging in to get work done.

Carlos brings decades of rock climbing mastery to the group.  He loves spending time on the wall and has been instrumental in establishing our bolting fund.

Chip works in the outdoors space and brings a trove of tools, and muscle to our efforts to establish approach trails, ensure existing bolts are safe, and setting anchors to allow for safe top anchor setting.

Chrissy comes from an outdoorsy family, and frequently finds herself on the belaying side of climbing.  Similarly she brings the background support to the group, wrangling the red tape of our 501(c)(3).
